Each suspension lamp must be positioned at the right height, in relation to the height of the ceiling, the size of the room and the activities that take place in the considered environment.
How far down should the chandelier be from the ceiling?
If the room is high, for example about 3 meters, the chandelier should drop at least 80 cm from the ceiling but if the ceiling is lower than 3 meters, the element should not drop more than 50 centimetres. In principle, the rule to follow is to place the chandelier at a height equal to and not less than a quarter of the distance between the ceiling and the floor.
